After the 2007 show:I just wanted to take a moment and thank you all for a great event. I
go to music venues all over the world, and the Melkweg facilities and
staff were among the best to be found in the world. The Melkweg staff
were so nice that I have to think they are they are the worlds best
concert people.

Not sure if this will get to you, but hopefully someone can pass it
along if this is not your contact email. First of all thank you so
much for a great 3 nights of music. Out of all of the festivals and
shows I've been to none of them matched this. The venue and city were
amazing, the people were great, and the music kicked ass. My legs are
still recovering from the dancing and walking (lost) in the city. I'm
starting to go through all of my pictures and just keep thinking of
all these little moments that still bring a smile.

Yo there--99 here, wishing I could find Armand to give him and the guys a huge hug from me for 3 years of amazingly wonderful musical moments at The Jam. This year was extra special with Dark Star and Keller, two huge Deadheads of decade long times.
Thanks seems pretty small, but if you see a vertically challenged, Silverback, 59 grooving around next year, that would be moi. Been coming to Amsterdam for 40 years and every time is magical and
now with The Jam, it's the perfect time to be there.
Anyway, hugs all around to everyone involved and hope to see you guys again next year. And, special thanks for bringing back Keller, the ultimate Jam Man, who jammed with EVERY band flawlessly!!!!

Thank you so much for hosting this excellent festival. It was just GREAT to see so many brilliant bands play under the same roof. And it was great to see them play in Amsterdam on top of this.
I also want to thank you for the very liberal photo policy; I was able to take my entire bag (camera plus four lenses) inside and take some beautiful shots. Saying that, I sent some of them to the Umphrey's McGee webmaster, and he published the pictures on the band's website and came back, asking for more 
) So even the bands are happy with photos taken during their gigs.
The Melkweg is one of the last venues where an amateur photographer can not only bring some serious camera gear, but he can also get close to the stage and shoot some pretty intimate views of the artists. I hope that you will keep that liberal policy up, so I just took the time to send you an eMail and tell you how much this little "photo freedom" matters to rock fans like my wife and me ) Thank you
